Doing something dependably for 20 years is a feather in anyone's hat. That feather weighs heavy when it's attached to every murder and heinous assault in my hometown. Thursday October 1, we will once again gather at the Federal Courthouse steps in protest of domestic violence and in support of its victims, with a march thru the downtown streets and a candlelight vigil. Domestic violence has been heavy locally, nationally, and internationally this year. I would like to see this year's turnout reflect that. Call someone, take someone, educate some kids...whatever you have to do..let's make this the hugest take back the night rally every to hit the port city streets... I will haul the PA, set up the sound, play a few tunes, light a candle, pray, and loadout. All I am asking is that you show up if you care. Thanks. |
